Terms of Use

AEOI Hub is a division of Tax Information Hubs Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 12177391, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.


Please read these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) carefully before using any AEOI Hub products and services. By downloading AEOI Hub reporting templates or clicking to accept or agree to these Terms anywhere that option is available, you (1) accept and agree to these Terms, (2) consent to the collection, use, disclosure and other handling of information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use any AEOI Hub products or services.


These Terms govern your use of our products and services. As used in these Terms, “AEOI Hub products and services”, “our products and services” or “the products and services” means the products and services provided by AEOI Hub for analysing financial account data and producing reports for the purposes of Automatic Exchange of Information (AEoI) reporting. These products and services may be provided via the distribution of Excel spreadsheet reporting templates, via the AEOI Hub website or via other services supplied by AEOI Hub.


Automatic Exchange of Information reporting (AEoI) includes the reporting requirements of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).


1. Standard Templates

1.1 AEOI Hub provides standard versions of the reporting template, together with a range of online content and support, free of charge.


1.2 AEOI Hub reserve the right to withdraw access to certain content and services at any time.


1.3 By downloading these templates, you agree to provide feedback to AEOI Hub in relation to your experience of the AEOI Hub products and services. You agree to be contacted by representatives of AEOI Hub by email, phone or post in accordance with our Privacy policy.


2. AEOI Hub Products and Services

2.1 AEOI Hub reporting templates and associated files can be downloaded from the AEOI Hub website https://aeoihub.com. The AEOI Hub reporting template is an Excel template which may be used to analyse financial account data and transform that data into the relevant format for submission to the tax authority. By downloading the templates we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the AEOI Hub template for creation of reports solely for the organisation for which you work or for clients of that organisation.


2.2 We also supply additional content in the form of help web pages on the AEOI Hub website https://aeoihub.com and via support from our representatives via email and telephone. Throughout the year we may make available updated versions of the AEOI Hub template which include updates as a result of legislative changes or bug fixes for issues identified. It is your responsibility to upgrade to the latest version and we reserve the right to withold support if you are using an older version of the template.


2.3 You agree to use the AEOI Hub products and services, including all features and functionalities associated therewith, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, or other restrictions on use of the service or content therein. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, offer for sale, or use (except as explicitly authorised in these Terms of Use) content and information contained in or obtained from the AEOI Hub products and services. You also agree not to: circumvent, remove, alter, deactivate, degrade or thwart any of the protections contained within the AEOI Hub reporting template, including but not limited to password protection of worksheets and workbooks and the encryption of any Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code used within the workbook.


2.4 You are responsible for checking the accuracy and validity of any reports generated by the AEOI Hub template and for safeguarding any financial account data which you enter or otherwise import into the AEOI Hub template.


2.5 You acknowledge that the AEOI Hub template requires Microsoft Excel to be installed on any PCs on which you wish to use the template and that you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate licences for Microsoft Excel for your organisation. You also acknowledge that the AEOI Hub template requires Excel macros to be enabled in order to operate correctly and that you accept responsibility for ensuring that you have enabled macros in Microsoft Excel when using the template.


3. Links to Third Party Sites and Services

3.1 The AEOI Hub website may contain links to other websites (“Linked Sites”). The Linked Sites are not under the control of AEOI Hub and AEOI Hub is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or update to a Linked Site. AEOI Hub is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by AEOI Hub of the site or any association with its operators.


3.2 The AEOI Hub template may interact with external data sources, such as published lists provided by the IRS or other tax authorities. AEOI Hub accept no responsibility for the accuracy of these external data sources and you accept responsibility for carefully checking the accuracy of any such data used.


4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless AEOI Hub, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and court costs) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the AEOI Hub Products and Services and your violation of any of these Terms of Use.


5. Liability

In no event will we be liable to you in contract, tort, misrepresentation or otherwise, for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever, nor for any direct or indirect loss of profit, loss of anticipated profits, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated revenue, loss of savings or anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, any (i) non submission or (ii) anomalies in submission of data to third parties, increases in cost of working whether anticipated or not, loss or corruption of data, loss or use or loss of operating time and any costs and expenses associated therewith, loss or damage to software or data which it contains (or the accuracy of any data in general either inputted or produced), or by the use of third party add-on software whether or not the same are under warranty, the cost of purchasing elsewhere, depletion of goodwill or reputation or otherwise which arise out of or in connection with this Agreement and whether or not foreseeable or made known to us.


6. Miscellaneous

6.1 Governing law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. These terms will not limit any consumer protection rights that you may be entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.


6.2 Product support. Any requests for AEOI Hub product support should be made by emailing support@aeoihub.com with details of your name, contact telephone number and clear details of the issue encountered with the AEOI Hub product or service. Whilst we endeavour to respond to all support enquiries promptly, we do not offer any guaranteed response times or minimum service level agreements when providing support for the standard templates.


6.3 Survival. If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use shall be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


6.4 Changes to Terms of Use. AEOI Hub may, from time to time, change these Terms of Use. We will notify you at least 30 days before such changes apply to you.


6.5 Electronic Communications. We will send you information in relation to the templates in electronic form only, via emails to the email address provided when downloading the template.
